The Audio Designer is responsible for the overall game sound including music and sound effects.
The Audio Designer aims to design the game sound so that it supports the gameplay and the player’s aesthetic experience of the game according to the criteria laid down by the Game Director and the Game Designer.
The Audio Designer produces sufficient sound material for the game.
The Audio Designer, in collaboration with the Game Programmer, must make sure that sounds and music functions inside the game engine.
The Audio Designer is responsible for – in collaboration with the Game Director and Project Manager – planning and assessing the scope of the work in relation to available time and resources.
