DADIU on the International Scene
DADIU’s game consultant and main teacher, Søren Lundgaard is quite impressed: “DADIU has a great track record with presence at festivals. But making it to E3 –  the largest game industry expo in the world – with not one, but two different student production yet again demonstrates that DADIU students can compete and succeed on the international scene. We are very proud of their great work”.

About DADIU
Both Blackwell’s Asylum and A Mother’s Inferno are Graduation Games from DADIU in 2011. Blackwell’s Asylum was originally called Blackwell, but has changed its name to avoid confusion with other Blackwell games.

In the fall semester of 2011, around 90 students from the art schools and universities in all of Denmark were immersed in computer games – doing classes, workshop and, lastly, a game production.
In the game production they were working in six full-fledged teams of approx. 17 students from November till late December

In the past, DADIU games have won numerous nominations at International festivals such as Indiecade, Penny Arcade Expo and IGF. See the full list here.
