DADIU – almost – took it all at the games festival Live 2011 Grandprix in Finland. Catnapped won the 1st prize and 5000 Euros, and two other DADIU games, DonQ and Office Rage, both got Honorary Mention.
The jury explains the selection of Catnapped with its original and very appealing graphics, they especially thought that the 3D scenes were exceptionally well made with a distinctive visual style. The playability was good and and difficulty levels were well adjusted, the gameplay was clear and intuitive and the overall quality of the implementation was excellent.
For both Office Rage and Don Q the jury liked the good gameplay.
Catnapped was developed in May 2010 as the first of the team’s two productions. Office Rage and Don Q were both developed in March 2010 as the teams’ second and thus last DADIU production.
