‘Greetings, my friend. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future. You are interested in the unknown ... the mysterious. The unexplainable. That is why you are here. And now, for the first time, we are bringing to you, the full story …’ (Plan 9 from Outer Space, Ed Wood)
For many years, this quote has been a part of the intro to the Danish radio programme Harddisken. Now Play X has picked up the baton. A number of prominent speakers have been asked to go 10 years into the future and spend five minutes looking back at the years that passed – from 2014 to 2024. Naturally, we have asked Harddisken’s Anders Høeg Nissen to start. The other speakers are Director of the National Film School of Denmark, Vinca Wiedemann, Head of Production & Development at the Danish Film Institute, Claus Ladegaard, CEO of Lohika Games, Henrike Lode, Journalist and critic, Søren Staal Balslev, and CEO of IO Interactive, Hannes Seifert.
